The NABSE Northeast Region Conference 2026 will take place April 30 – May 3, 2026, at the Sonesta Hotel in White Plains, New York. This premier regional gathering brings together educators, administrators, policymakers, community leaders, and advocates who are dedicated to advancing educational excellence and equity for students across the Northeast Region.

The conference will feature engaging forums, including the State of Black Education Townhall, the NABSE Educational Policy Institute Forum, and the BLE Forum – Black Leaders in Education Forum, where influential leaders and organizations will discuss key issues impacting education and literacy for African-American students. Participants will also benefit from 16 professional development workshops covering topics such as literacy, special education, leadership development, college readiness, artificial intelligence in education, and career and technical education.

In addition to learning opportunities, attendees will enjoy meaningful networking and celebratory events, including the Recognition Luncheon, Awards Banquet, Ecumenical Breakfast, and special receptions that bring together educators and leaders from across the region.
